On the weekend of 30th June & 1st July students of Taranaki Taekwon-Do had the privilage of training under Master Moore VII Dan from the sunshine coast in Australia. Over the course of the Master Class, Master Moore covered all areas of Taekwon-Do that included stretching, warm up exercises, fundemental movements, step sparring, patterns, pattern application, self

It was a very enjoyable evening where we were treated to stories of Gen. Choi Hong Hi, Grandmaster Choi Jung Hwa, and the correct protocols in Taekwon-Do. On Sunday 1st July at the conclusion of the Master Class Mr Livingstone was put through an extensive V Dan testing. Much to the delight of his students, friends and family he was successful  On the Sunday night  Master Moore was joined by students, friends and family at another local restaurant. It was planned to show Master Moore around the sights of Taranaki but unfortunately the weather had other ideas. We managed to fill the morning with indoor events and in the afternoon Master Moore taught Mr Livingstone his new pattern (So San) in the corridor of the Hotel (It was quite wide). Just goes to show that you can practice Taekwon-Do anywhere. Master Moore's passion. knowledge and ability of the art and the sport side of Taekwon-Do was nothing short of breathtaking, but what stood out for most people was his warmth and kindness to everyone. He has certainly left a lasting impression and we look forward to meeting up with Master Moore in the near future.
